What is Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)?

In traditional infrastructure configurations the server, network, storage arrays, and computing management systems are all separate devices. A converged infrastructure combines two or more of these systems into a single unit.

The latest Hyper Converged Infrastructure is a single unified system that combines ALL of these components into a single infrastructure. By abstracting, virtualizing and pooling mass resources underneath all the elements of the infrastructure and dynamically allocating those resources based on automated policies set by the administrators, you can be sure you're getting the best use of your hardware. This eliminates the need for complicated constructs and configurations.
