Are you someone with online research and data analyst skills looking for a flexible internship that drives tangible results?

If you are tech-savvy and interested in an analytical role – giving you exposure to managing contractors and interaction with the latest sales and marketing technology tools, like Salesforce, this could be a great fit.

Today our team’s daily prospecting efforts are unfocused, distributing our attention and time across small and large accounts. We are seeking to hire a data analyst intern to discover, clean, and group customer data with the goal of focusing our time on accounts that have a high likelihood of purchase and engagement.

In this role, you will analyze our current customer base and identify lists of competitors we can target for both marketing and sales engagement from outside and with our prospect database.

Our existing Salesforce database needs to be cleaned, researching SIC and NAICS codes, along with revenue, employee count, and industry information.  You will manage a team of overseas contractors to lookup and append contact information and be the point person for quality data management.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience building Salesforce reports, but we will definitely consider bringing you on for the role if you are technical and can learn quickly.


  1. Learn our data sets and fields
  2. Apply a systematic and manual approach to clean the data
  3. Find a set number of highly targeted companies and associated contacts per quarter
  4. Rank and apply values in Salesforce that allows us to group accounts
